The Impact of Teacher Grit and Growth Mindset on Teacher Self-Efficacy: A Phenomenological Approach
Public Deposited- Abstract
- This study emphasizes that teachers can improve their effectiveness as educators and provide students with quality instruction by cultivating grit and a growth mindset. This includes building their self-efficacy. It also identifies areas for future research and suggests implications for teacher training and development programs. Teachers play an essential role in influencing their students' career choices by incorporating their values and acknowledging societal expectations. They are responsible for empowering students with the knowledge and skills to make informed decisions about their future careers. A teacher's resilience is based on utilizing effective methods for psychological development and promoting a mindset that prioritizes growth. Therefore, by sharing their expertise, they can present themselves professionally and showcase their unique abilities. The findings indicate that teachers who exhibit grit and a growth mindset tend to have higher levels of self-efficacy and are more resilient in the face of challenges. They are also more likely to seek out opportunities for professional development and have a positive impact on their students’ learning outcomes.
