Public DepositedDownloadable Content
Download PDFThe objective for this research is to build a future policy that will improve help given to domestic violence victims. It is to look at the different problems both before and during the pandemic and figure out what changes can be made to better protect and aid the victims. By interviewing non-profit organizations and an EMT, we get a better idea of the challenges that advocates face before and after the COVID-19 pandemic. The results show an increase in cases and demand for services when the pandemic started, with many organizations put on hold or transitioning to online services.
